Embry-Riddle's multi-engine training, the Diamond DA-42 Twin Star, will be grounded for the 2008-09 academic year after the recent bankruptcy of the Twin Star's engine manufacturer, Thielert. GAO sides with Boeing protest, overturns
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) sided heavily with Boeing on their appeal that the Air Force unfairly awarded the KC-X tanker to Northrop Grumman. The announcement was released June 18 in response to Boeing's appeal filed March 11. The Air Force's decision, between Boeing's 767 platform, and Northrop Grumman with the Airbus A330, came February 29.… Post the First Comment
